I gotta go with Crosby.  When he's on the ice, he does things few other players can & is always making things happen.

All four of the above have things going for them, and I'd throw Fleury in there as well.  And I've always liked Gonchar, even when he was playing with the Capitals.  While Hossa is very good, I have reserved any attachment to him as a fan until I'm convinced he's more than a rent-a-player and will be sticking around.

gonchar is very underrated.  hossa proved he's clutch.  crosby did well for a kid.  malkin will get better conditioning this offseason, but the skill is there.

love crosby but gonchar is overlooked a lot i think.  what's that trophy for defensemen he keeps getting passed up on?  the morris trophy?  gonchar's the man.

Hossa is the best player next to Fleury. Hossa is the only European who showed up for the Stanley Cup.

Malkin and Crosby need to learn to play a 2 way game. They only know offense and cannot think out of the box. Crosby is very talented but until he learns to kill penalties or should I say, Wants to kill penalties then he will not get respect in this league.

The Captain's in this league that are remembered are the ones who play both sides of the ice.

Hossa for his athleticism... He's the best skater/ scorer we have, regardless of Malkin. Watch the playoffs, and the regular season games he was with us for as evidence. Crosby is probably our best puckhandler, and Gonchar's guts and defensive skills are lights out.. .also, he's good offensively, too.

Sergei Gonchar is my favorite player..

I love them all though.

Hossa is the best, he is a good skater, great puckhandling and good at scoring those last minute or shorthanded goals
