Calling all people in the feild of criminal justace?

i'm a 33 year old female, Trying to get into this field, I will be taking the course through a accreted collage on the internet, what type of personalties do people in this field usually have? im the type of girl that likes to get things done to see people improve their lives, see people turn around for the good of human nature, and do good for other people, my father thinks im too gullable for this field, but i dont think that i am, and its something i feel that i have looked into far enough to make my mind up about. if anyone has any advice please give it rather it be good or bad i will read what you have to say. thank you so much for your time

The first thing you need to turn around is the e and i in the word field.

It does sound like you are a little gullible for this field. I have experience with many with people, let's say on opposite side of the law. Most are relatives and guys I went to school with.

You may find 1 out of 10 may really put an effort out to change. But aside from getting caught, most like things just the way they are. These people will tell you anything to to get by.

You can tell you father that the sure cure for getting over the gullible trait is when you have been lied to and shafted enough to make you suspicious. Then you will be able to help them because your vision won't be blocked by BS.

I think most people start in that line of work thinking they are going to make a big change only to find out the most important element to correcting the problem is missing. That is the desire to do so on the part of the criminal.

If this is what you want to do go ahead. You may be the magic bullet that makes the difference.
