Calling all people who live in New Mexico!?

Well you know there was fire on the organ mountains. Some people said it was a wild fire but that is wrong. Somebody lit a bush on fire and it spread. It destroyed 1000 acres of the organ mountains. I got some pictures but there is still smoke from that big fire and there is talk that it is going to start again and make a new fire. Is that possible. I mean can it really?

no way can it start twice, and even so, its already burnt

If there is still smoke, there are still live coals.  That leaves a potential for the fire to start again.  All it will take is the proper amount of air, like a breeze, and fuel, like partially burned wood.   If the wood isn't completely reduced to ash, it can still burn.  

That is one of the reasons that forest fires are so devastating.  You might think the fire is out and a stray ember or coal will flare back up and start the whole thing all over again.  

So yes, the fire CAN start back up.
