  1. i agree with Sarah,

it's very challenging yet very rewarding

i am sure you will enjoy it

  2. Ive got asperges and I'm not that hard to deal with honest

  3. it is not a demotion, it is much harder to work with children with sen than those without.

I do and have worked with many children on the spectrum, so covering aspergers. I enjoy working with children with aspergers, it is very challenging yet extremly rewarding.

  4. I have been a teacher for more than 30 years, working in England and Scotland in both Mainstream and Special Schools as a class teacher and latterly as an Additional Support Needs Teacher in Mainstream Primary, in Scotland .  I look back fondly on most of my experiences.  I feel privileged to have worked with many wonderful children, some with Asperger's, some not.  It is definitely NOT a demotion to be an S.E.N Teacher (sometimes called Support for Learning or Additional Support Needs Teachers).  These teachers have to have years of experience and additional qualifications and qualities in order to work successfully with students who have not only "difficulties" but also certain "strengths" which others do not possess.  Part of my job is also to support and educate classroom teachers in how to support pupils and parents.

  5. Most certainly not a demotion! It is more challenging and it will require you to do a lot of learning and rethinking. If you are prepared to do that, you will find it incredibly rewarding.
