Calling america from france?

I have a friend in Paris who wants to call me but doesn't know how to do it. How do you call long distance from Paris?

I don't know if they have it or not there, But i know they have them here and asia, Tell him/her to go to a Super market and look for Long Distant Phone Cards, And it will give you time and Directions for calling long distance.

When I was in Paris calling home, the simplest and cheapest way was to go to La Pharmacie or a Monoprix or just a little drug store and buy an international phone card. They're fairly inexpensive, and you can always add minutes as you go. Tell your friend to just ask someone at the store; they'll know exactly how to help. It can be used on a regular phone or on a pay phone. Just read the instructions on the back of the card. Happy calling!

The cheapest way is to go via Telerabais. If she is calling from a land line, she should dial 0811 31 20 20. Then after the recording she dials 00 1 then the area and local code in the USA, followed by the hash key.

This will cost her the equivalent of a local call.
