  1. Erm...the first and second answers relate to Landlines...what the guy needs is how to call a Cell....is it still 01?  Do you then need to drop the first zero off the cell number?

  2. 001 with the mobile number less the starting 0.

    (00 = international call

1 = country code for USA)

  3. The phone system in the US is different than the one in the UK and most of Europe. One main difference is that cellular numbers are no different than geographic numbers. In the UK all cell numbers start with 7, while in the US a cell numbers is allocated geographically and looks just like a fixed number: 3 digit area code + 7 digit tel. number. So like others above have adviced you should dial: 00 + 1 + x*x x*x XXXX.

For a list of US area codes and their locations see these websites http://www.areacodelocations.info , http://www.lincmad.com

  4. 001 (area code) (city code) (number)

  5. yes the international dial code for the US is 01 then the number
