Calling anyone who's ever babysat--ever!?

Question

I am qualified with the American Red Cross in babysitting. The book they gave me is fabulous, and they tell me everything about meeting the parents, playing with kids, and basically everything I'd ever need to know about babysitting--except one thing!

I live in a rural area but there are suberbs about 10 minutes away by car. I cannot find a way to get business! Any tips on how you found your babysitting jobs? Stories welcome...

Put up fliers.. in the suburbs area.. or but an ad in a newspaper..

Try posting an ad on craigslist, or in your local paper. Another good place to find business is a bulletinn board at a local gym or supermarket.Good luck!
