I wish to call an Irish number from my mobile could you please tell what code to use? xx

  3. I am just back in Ireland from a holiday in England. To ring an Irish mobile number 00353 86 ( or 87 - you drop the 0) and the rest of the number. The same applies to a landline phone. 00353 the code of the county without the 0 and the rest of the number.

  5. yep if its a mobile number the prefix is prob (085,086,087 etc)

    the irish prefix is +353/00353, so u write 00353 and then drop the zero of the network prefix, example 0872222222 would be +353872222222

    if its a landline you do the same, drop the zero at the start of the area prefix
