Calling mexico?

my bf is on vacation in mexico, and his mom gave me the hotel #.thier not exactly in puerto vallarta, but there close to there. its in between there and guadalajara. she gave me the number which is 12 digits.is there a country code i have to dial before calling this number?(ex. when calling guadalajara i have to dial 011-52-33-#) or do i just dial this 12 digit number and itll direct me there cuz its a hotel? (the # starts with 01-322-#..)please help me asap!thank u!

  1. You do not need to use the "33"...that is the area code for Guadalajara.  You should dial 011-52-322( the area code for Puerto Vallarta ), then the 7 digit local number...a total of 15 digits.


  2. You got it right.  Dial as you have explained.  011-52-33 + the number.  You probably don't have to dial the 01.

    I used to dail my dad when he went to Acapulco and that seems right.  The way it works it this--you dial 011 + country code +city code + local number.  All I remember is that it is alot of numbers.

    Sometimes when I have called the Phillipines or Mexico, I had to play with the begining numbers because not all of them were necessary.  Still, it is alot of numbers.

    Get a penny talk card.  The number to call 1-888-624-9714.

    The rates are a .49c connect fee + .02/per minute for land line, .27/minute for Mexico City mobile, and .31/minute mobile anywhere in Mexico.
