If you want to discuss a job posting to a potential employer and you do not have their direct contact number, but you have their email. Is it ok to email them instead or try to find their contact number?

  1. I think you could email.  That may even be better since it allows the employer to answer at their convenience.  Just make sure that the email is formal.  No spelling or grammatical errors, etc.

    Good Luck!

  2. that is fine

  3. Yes it's fine. Good luck!

  4. yes email..

    recruitment is done electronically these days especially job applications..etc.. in your case if you have a query regarding the position or would like to seek more info on the position just say so in your email.

    be professional.. alternatively if you want to talk to them in person request their contact number via email..

    mention  the jobs in  subject box ******you could say something like this;

    Dear ******

    In regards to the above position advertised on **********,I would like to show interest therefore would like further information...etc etc..you could even attach your c.v for their consideration!

    hope that helps..

    good luck!

  5. Yes, it is OK to email them as long as you keep it professional and DEFINATELY use spell check!!

    I would try something like:

    Dear NAMEOFCOMPANY,

    I am interested in hearing more about the NAMEOFPOSITION position which is posted in the LOCATIONYOUFOUNDIT.

    Then I would give a bit of your background or skilll set...

    GOOD LUCK IN YOUR SEARCH!
