Ok i live in CA and my friend live in NJ. Does the minutes or money charge more if i call my friend from NJ. (Cell to Cell)

Or does it still count after 9PM ?? I heard people said after 9PM - 12AM its free minutes. Is that right ?

  1. off peak hours change from cell company to cell company. why not just dial 611 and ask your cell company and get the correct answer the first try.

  2. Your question is better answered in the cell phone forum

  3. It really depends on the plan you have on your cell phone.

A lot of plans do go "free" at 9PM, but you need to check with your cell plan to be sure.  You can always dial 611 from your cell (thats always a free call) and ask your carrier and see what they say.

Also, it sounds like you have a cell with a NJ phone number and your using it in CA.  That is fine, but note that billing time (your 9:00) is local to where the cell is, so 9:00 in CA is like Midnight in NJ.
