Calling out of work tonight....?

Ok, here's the whole problem laid out. One of my good friends is turning 21 today, and a really good mutual friend of ours is throwing a huge party at her house for her birthday and I'm dying to go. Problem: I have to work tonight until close at my job which is at like 1 in the morning. I'm trying to find someone to work for me, but if I can't find somebody, I need a d**n good reason for calling out.

Calling in sick is out of the question because my ***** *** manager will ask for a doctor's note. Thanks!

What about going in and leaving early?  Pretend a migraine or vomiting in the bathroom and call it a night around 9 pm.  Go in and already pretend to act sick.

Say that someone close to you is a missing person like they ran away and no one has any clue where they are and you have to help find them and deal with the police.

call in sick anyway.  contact your doctor's office and explain that you've had a migraine all day and that your work needs a note.  my doctor doesn't even see me, he just leaves a note from me at the front desk.  even if you have to schedule a quick doctor's visit, it's worth the copay to have a "legitimate" reason to call out.

Say that your mom was driving and she got in a car crash. But go to work when your manager sees you have someone call and pretend its your mom telling you. Run out of the store explaining to him on the way out.
