Can global warming change the ocean current by melting glaciers and will that lead to global warming how? also how does ocean current relate to a ice age?

  1. First, you probably want a climatologist.

    Ocean currents assist in moving energy around on the planet.  The same is true of hurricanes.  So, theoretically, changes to the environment could change currents.

    Would it cause an ice age?  Hard to say.  It&#039;s &quot;which came first,&quot; as no human being has encountered an ice age to record the situation.

    Depending on the meteorologist, and who funds them, you will get different answers on if it will lead to global warming.
