  1. I guess it's good for anyone that lives on the very west, southwest part of it who always wanted to see the islands!!!

  2. Actually it's not. It's being pushed up out of the ocean due to subduction. The only thing that might happen is a small part, like really really small, might break away on the edge of the continental plate because the Pacifc and North American plates are sliding past each other, but even that part won't sink. It might just create the need for a bridge.

  3. Wow.  I heard this in 1979.  I panicked then, too.

  4. its been hanging there for years..

  5. ca. is in the continental shelf and the news that it rips apart into two and there will be fierce earch quakes in the next 50 years are all the exiting news.

We tend to take the science knowledge and add our imagination and fiction to it.

    It sounds exciting.

Be sure nothing will happen to force a Party

  6. Nah I think Ill just go for the swim LOL!

  7. ***Sorry to disapoint you but that's a myth and has been proven it can't happen. I'm sure we'll have plenty of excitiement when a big one hits, but swimming isn't gonna be part of the party!***

  8. only the side that stinks alot... the rest of us will have a shorter ride to the new beach......
