okay..soo i have an old NIKON LITE-TOUCH-ZOOM AF & it says Nikon Zoom Lens 35-70mm Macro..does anyone know what that is??

  1. to add to Jt C's comment, this zoom lens is competely within the realm of a photographer that wants to take multiple distances/close up shots, without using a tripod.  

    There are other combinations of zoom lenses that you can get, though handheld picture taking usually stops at around 110 focal length zoom


  2. 35 to 70 mm is the focal length think magnifying power of a lens. The longer the focal length the greater magnification is,the shorter the focal length of a lens the wider the angle is.

    Macro means it will focus on things up close. Like taking a close up picture of a grasshopper
