Is there a difference between a regular camaro and a Z28 camaro?

  1. Yes. The difference depends upon what year you are talking about. Mainly in every year the Z28 had the most powerful v8 available in the camaro. In recent years the base model only had a v6. In some years there was also an ss model that offered a v8. There were also differences in the wheels available and the suspension in some years. Of course there were also differences in body molding, spoilers and trim pieces.

  4. i have a 1983 camaro Z28,and the difference between the two are the options on the cars.the Z28 has all the extras,and the regular camaro has just the basic options.and all the parts are interchangable from the same generation camaro,if you have a second gen camaro and want to make it into a Z28 camaro just go to www.yearone.com and buy all the needed parts to convert the reg.camaro to a Z28..
