Camaro ss or mustang gt ?

Question

i am 15 but my dad told me to start looling at cars for my birthday

ive narrowed my choices down to a camaro ss or mustang gt

but i dont know which one to get tho i plan on doing a few modifacations to it but which car would be the better one get?

can somebody tell me somethiings to help persuade me about which is the better buy.(and ohh yeah i have about 8,000 dollar spending limit if that helps any)

and dont give no b.s about gas prices bc i can look out my window and see how high they are.

Mustangs are everywhere, plus i think the SS is a lot nicer.  But, you aren't getting an SS for close to $8000.  If that's your max, you'll have to get an older GT, The SS is too much.

dude if you get either don't be stupid and try and be cool and race some of your classmates on open roads with traffic, just  do to a drag strip and settle it because these cars are powerful and you have to know how to handle them, this is why my first car is a 06 H3, and not an Sports car or anything, because i know i won't be stupid, i would actually recommend an 97-99 Maxima's not a mustang b/c they are c**p and you will not find an camaro SS for 8 grand

The best choice for a 16 year old is not a sports car. My neighbor bought his 16 year old son a mustang GT last year. I went to his funeral with my son this spring. He lost control on a back road they estimate his speed at around 100 at the time of the accident, he lost control and flipped the car a number of times before hitting a tree he didn't have a chance. Now his mom and dad are splitting up she blames him for her sons death. He was a good kid my son was good friends with him just a case of too much power and not enough experience to handle it. I hope this makes you think about not getting a powerful car till you are experienced enough and mature enough to handle it.  My son was not happy with me when I gave him my old focus to drive now he understands why I did that.
