Esteban Cambiasso, former central midfielder of Real Madrid, has remarked on the change in his positioning of late and stated his comfort in adjusting to it.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan have had a dearth of cover in their defensive ranks and this has meant that the head coach of the San Siro outfit has had to find solutions for the situation they see themselves in. This has meant that the team has looked on to the deployment
of his ever reliable midfielder in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Esteban-Cambiasso-c12912 to deputise in the role as the central defender.
However, this has not been the first time since the player was asked to make use of his skills elsewhere, as he has deputised in the defence on a number of occasions. While commenting on his new role, Cambiasso has gone on to comment that he has been used
in the same position by a number of previous head coaches. While giving examples, he reminisced that he used to play as a defender during his years as a kid and also reflected that he had been deployed in the same position under the guidance of previous managers,
namely Leonardo and Jose Mourinho.
He remarked that he was always willing to put himself for the benefit of the team, and reflected that his flexibility has proven to be one of his strengths and mentioned that he was willing to help his team out whenever they needed help.
He was quoted to have said:
“It’s up to the Coach where I play. One of my few strengths is that I put the team first. I was open to this option and that's how it should be. I've never felt out of place in that position because I played there as a kid and on the odd occasion when we
were short under Jose Mourinho or http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056.”
Inter Milan are currently in the top three of the Italian league standings, and the team would be hoping to keep the pressure up on the remaining clubs  in their hunt to cement their Champions League standing for next season. For now they would have to contend
with competition from Juventus, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775
