The Argentinean midfielder has pleaded for the realisation that this is not Inter Milan of yester years, stating rise and falls are part of the game.
Inter Milan have had one of the poor seasons of their 103 year history.
The Nerazzurri have failed to contend with the departures of few of their key personnel in the previous seasons, and have suffered from it.
Claudio Ranieri’s men have lost seven of their last eight matches in all competitions, and have been the subject of heavy criticism from all corners. The fans have shown their disapproval on Inter Milan’s
recent winless streak, and have jeered Ranieri, calling for Jose Mourinho to be restored as the manager.
In light of all this criticism, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Esteban-Cambiasso-c12912 has come forward and called for realisation from the Inter fans. The Argentine was talking to Sky Sport Italia, where he claimed that they go into every match
with commitment and to play with tenacity. However, their results have left them perplexed, as they have never been in such a bad run of form.
“In the locker room we analyse the matches that we lost, but we are not accustomed to such a bad run of results. The only way to emerge from this is to work hard and examine the mistakes we made. Each game is different, but unfortunately
united by a negative result.”
The former Real Madrid man believes that the Beneamata need to perform exceedingly well in their matches, however, performance alone does not guarantee wins. He also understood that people will be critical of their future performances.
“Unfortunately, it’s normal for people to think ill of us at the moment. When everything is going well, then nobody has complaints, but beauty is not eternal.” Added the Argentine international
While reflecting on the Beneamata’s achievements in the past, he acknowledged that they have done a lot in the past. However, he believes that no team can rest on the laurels of past, and every day is a new
day.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 will take on Catania in their next game at San Siro on Sunday, March 4.
