The former Real Madrid striker has gone on to laud his teammates for the performance they gave against Fiorentina on the sixth matchday of the 2012-13 Serie A season.
Andrea Stramaccioni’s men have impressed on most counts this season; however, their performance in the matches they have played at home left much to be desired from. It started off with the Europa League qualifiers as the Nerazzurri outfit lost at home against

The pattern continued in the Serie A, as the Beneamata went on to lose matches at home, matches which they should have won. They lost against AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 and AC Siena; and in the match against the Giallorossi outfit, they were given a master class by Francesco
Totti and Zdenek Zeman, on the day.
Even though the victory by the Robur had more to do with luck, but it had not changed the fact that the Meazza outfit had failed to register a victory at their home. There was pressure on the Nerazzurri outfit to secure victory in their match, and it was
made even more difficult by the fact that they were up against Fiorentina.
Vincenzo Montella’s outfit have been one of the toughest outfits to beat in the Serie A, so far, and they were on the verge of securing victory against Juventus. Stramaccioni’s men put in a great performance, and Cambiasso congratulated his men on a thoroughly
impressive display against Viola.

“We played a great game against Fiorentina. In the first half especially, the performance was a monster. We could have won 4-1, and that would not have offended anyone. We are a team under construction and we need time. It is true that we have finally won
at San Siro, but people always need something to talk about.”
The San Siro outfit went on to win by 2-1.
