Cambridge Soundworks Model 88CD question

Question

I was hoping someone here that owns one can answer this question for me. Does this unit play cdr's? I was told by a sales rep from hifi.com that it would NOT and just wanted verification from the experts here. On a side note, what about the Bose Wave CD, does that one play cdr's?
