Camcorder Knowledge is needed! Where is a good place to buy a good camcorder?

I am looking about getting a camcorder. Basically a HDD with 3 CCD. I checked out Best buy, Circuit City, and even Walmart but they didn't seem to display a lot of 3 CCD Camcorders! I would love to buy High Definition But I don't want to spend $1000 for one. Please help Me!!!

B&H Photo and Video.  They have, well, just about everything.  They're in New York, but they ship everywhere.  Very reliable, great service, and very competitive prices.  Beware of a bunch of other internet sellers, though.  Run a comprehensive Google search on merchants' names; many are scam artists based in Brooklyn under about 20 different names.

That said, B&H is just amazing.  I'm like a kid in a candy store whenever I go in there.
