Camcorder Question.?

Hey guys, what will be better as a camcorder to insert the tape/dvd into your computer that will work best for video editing, (we have Windows Movie Maker). Also, with the mini dvd's, can you just insert those into your computer and edit them or upload them to youtube? Can you insert the mini dvd's into your dvd player and watch them? Im thinking about buying one, but first, im figuring out all the stuff about them first.

PLEASE DO NOT GET A DVD CAMCORDER. Poor video quality - especially if you want to transfer to your computer for editing and upload. The video is a pain to get into a format MovieMaker will deal with, the discs only hold 20 minutes and video quality is terrible.

MiniDV tape or hard drive or flash memory. NOT DVD.
