Hi, I have a digital 8mm sony handicam. It is about 10 years old, but has not seen much use. I have two batteries, the one it came with, which is good for about one hour and the second is good for about three hours. The second battery is made by sony for sony so its not after market. Problem, when both batteries fully are charged, they both act like they are about to die. Example, the three hour battery is fully charged, according to the read out it states 2:56, thats two hours and fifty six minutes at full charge. Then, when I use said battery is works fine for about ten minutes then shuts down stating low battery charge. The battery that came with the camcorder does likewise. Why is this? Thanx, Robert

  1. I had the same problem with my JVC camcorder battery, that also died after a minute or two, no matter how long I charged it, and I I checked every store (walmart, target, radio shack, etc) And the only place who carried them (cause they were out dated) was Best Buy.
