Camcorder-dc power cord help, please?

I really need a DC power cord for my Hitachi dz-gx3100a dvd cam and the only one i could find available to buy off the internet was this one : http://www.bizrate.com/videoaccessories/oid651837473__nwylf--.html

do you think i could use this cord for my camcorder..?

You don't need a specific Hitachi power supply - you can use a generic one, available from any electronics store.  The voltage and polarity have to be right, so take the camcorder with you when you buy it.
