how can i tell what size fisheye lens for my camcoder

You need to know the size of your camcorder lens in millimeters (check the edge of your lens and your manual).  You also need to check to see if your camcorder lens is threaded.  * If you do not see threads, be sure to check if there might already be a protective glass shield screwed on.   JVC used to sold several of their SD camcorders with an extra glass shield on the lens for protection.

    Once you know the size of your lens and if it has threads or not, you can search places such as Amazon http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=motionpictu... , B&H Photo and Video http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/shop/1871/... , or other similar sites for a lens (threaded or unthreaded) that fit your mm size.  You local electronics store might carry lenses in your size or order them for you.

    The threaded lenses should s***w right on, and the unthreaded lenses will slide on with a fair amount of force and some twisting action.  Most camcorders can use the same photo lenses for film and digital cameras with little or no problems
