Camcorders and Webcams?

What is the major difference between camcorders and webcams? I enjoy taking videos for fun, like of my pets and my friends, and vacations, and concerts. Which would be best?

a camcorder. a webcam is something hooked to your computer, so you can't take it with you and take pictures of your pets, vacation, concerts, etc. it is basically for you to sit in front of the computer and web chat with people.

webcam is just for PC only and you cant bring it anywhere

camcoders you can record your video anywhere anytime there is like a lot of camcoder to choose from

Webcams are attached to your computer and the only way to take a picture of your pet is to bring him to your camera at your computer.

I'd recommend a bargain camcorder and Amazon has great deals. See links below for ideas.
