Came home from work to find home phone is not woking,but internet is working what should i do?

I was just wondering if your land phone is operated by batteries?

If so they could be flat and need changing...

The other thing I would suggest is to borrow someone's  (neighbor?) land  phone and see if it your line is working before contacting your provider.

if U have DSL make sure you're phones are filtered.

If your phone is working off of your cable supplier modem, reset the modem.

Unplug the modem, remove batteries from modem, leave unpluged and batteries out for two minutes. Plug back in and replace batteries. Make sure batteries are back in. It will take about 4 min. for the system to reset. Should work. If not call your phone service provider.
