  2. Well,

Camel spiders are also called Windscorpions, Wind spiders, and Sun spiders, even though they are neither scorpions nor spiders.

The biggest ones are 6" in diameter.

They make up an entire order (Solifugae) within the Arachnida class.

They have about the strongest jaws per size of any animal.

    They can maintain 10mph.

They are most known from photos and stories from US soldiers in Iraq, however they live in most deserts around the world, including in the southwest United States.

Camel Spiders' pedipalps (feeler arms) are very long, longer than the legs.  They are not actually used in locomotion, but they appear to be a 5th pair of legs.

Their jaws (chelicerae) works like two pairs of scissors.

They like to hide in shadows, and will run to hide in the shadow of a person.  This gives people the feeling that they are "stalking them".  This behavior is how the order got it's name, Solifugae means "Flees from the sun"

They have no venom and cannot make silk like spiders do.
