Camels, the energy crisis solution in South Africa?

There used to be a place near Cathedral Mountain I used when I was selling tours over there. They had camels - used to take tourists on camel back  tours. The camels did not fare well in South Africa - their hooves took a devil of a beating - believe it or not South Africa is too moist for them and they suffered hoof rot and had to be taken back from whence they came.

Find a way around that and it is a great, if slow, idea. Wonder if something like Crazy Glue would work?

Just trying to envisioned a caravan of camels loping down the N1   He he Too funny!

Camels are cool. The Australians have some of the best in the world, we could all get them from there.  They have millions of them.

Hmmm...They are great rightt?? Maybe the USA should start using camels..i mean we would save so much money. Why not?
