Camera Batteries on Delta Flight?

Do you know if Delta Airlines allow you to have batteries in your camera upon boarding the plane? What about your laptop? I've never flown before so I don't know what to expect. Maybe some helpful links?

TIA!

PS - We're flying out of ATL, SLC, and PHX.

  1. Yes, yes, and yes.

  2. I've never had a problem with batteries in things that need batteries.

Here is the website for Delta what is allowed and they allow batteries if they can be visually inspected.

  3. Yes, Delta will allow you to have batteries in your camera when you board. Same thing with the laptop too. But, when you are going through security, you have to take the laptop out of the laptop bag and put it in a separate container (they made me do that....)

I think you can probably take some photos on the plane, but it is better if you asked the flight attendants first.
