Camera Being Weird??

Question

Okay so i have a Cannon Powershot S2IS, and everytime i charge the batteries and put them back on later, this message appears on my screen " Change the batteries". But thee thing is ithas been doing this since about months ago. Any ideas of what it might be?

how can it be the batteries, what are the chances of you getting all of these batteries, that are deffective. I really think something is wrong with your camera. the chances of the batteries being defective that much is really slim...

what you should do, is send the camera back to canon, and have them look at it, they'll tell you how much it'll cost to fix, it won't be free because you bought it more than a year ago, so whatever's wrong with the camera won't be covered in the camera's warranty.

I have a canon S3IS, i have noticed that the batteries don't last long at all, however, they still work for around one hour or so of shooting, not all in one time. you should really send it into the canon center.

Either the battery is bad or the camera is bad. I would go exchange the camera it if I were you. Check to see if it has a warrenty and if the warrenty covers it.

You need a new battery, they were probably over charged.
