Question:

Camera Cards-Help!?

Ok I'm sure this is a pointless question, but I'm debating which camera (mine or my dad's) to take to a concert I'm attending in August. My camera card is 7.2 Mega Pixels and the camera card says "1GB." My dad's is 5.0 Mega Pixels and says "256MB." I'm not really into technology, so I'm not sure which one will give the ability to take the most pictures!

Any help?

  1. 256 MB is one quarter the size of a 1GB card ... The 7MP sensor should give you better resolution ... even when shooting at high ISO's

  2. MP=Mega pixels, or millions of pixels per inch.  This means higher quality the higher this number.

    MB=megabytes or

    GB=gigabytes.  A gigabyte is 1024 megabytes, and this is the amount of pictures you will be able to store.

    Your camera is the best choice.

  3. Before you worry about which camera to take, better make sure that cameras are allowed.  If not, they could take it away and you won't see it again.  Or if you sneak one in, and security sees you taking pictures, they could take it away

    Your camera and card is the better one to take.

  4. they reckon that anything over 6 million mp doesn't really make a difference....personally I think 5 is sufficient...just make sure it's good in low light and you have plenty of memory.... you'll so regret it otherwise!!

    the 1GB has most memory.....btw
