Is it safe to use Dust Off compressed air to clean my digital camera censor? If not, why?

  1. NO! You will drive dust and grit into the inner workings of your camera.

    Just READ & FOLLOW the instructions under "Care and Cleaning of Your Camera" in the Owner's Manual.


  2. Absolutely not.

    Because you will have to buy yourself a new camera if you squirt your sensor with Dust Off.

  3. No it is not.  The reason is that the propellant used in compressed air products can break down seals, and the moisture can cause damage to your camera.
