  1. The lens are damaged. This is quite bad. Send it for repair however I don't think it is repairable and if so it's going to cost a lot.

  2. If its under gurantee take it back to the shop and get a replacement  if not its not worth repairing it,

  3. It's bust

  4. Normally, the manufacturer's warranty does not cover accidental damages if the camera was bought within a year. But you can take it to the shop where you bought it from if there is no apparent visual indication of damage on the body of the camera and tell them to repair if free as it can then be said as a technical fault.

If the camera is more than a year old, the decision to have it repaired depends on how much you paid for the camera. If it is less than £100, buy yourself a new camera. Its not worth fixing it as a normal repair would cost you a minimum of £60. If it is more than £100 get it repaired at a good camera repair shop as you yourself cannot repair a internal motor fault which seems to be the case here.

  5. First things first, unless you actually bought an additional protection plan, there is no way that the camera will be covered under warranty.  Obvious impact damage is not covered under a warranty that covers faulty manufacture and materials.

It sounds like you will need to actually buy a new one, as the repair will be fairly costly.
