Camera Lens Error.?

Question

I have a Powershot A560 Camera, and I was at a Concert and My friend keep hitting my arm on purpose so I wouldn't get a good shoot. You can guess what Happened after about the 30th time he did it. How my Lens is Crooked and won't work. Its been past a year, so I have no Warrent. I also have no money to pay for repairs or buy a new camera, seeing how this is my 2nd camera that I have done this to. Someone Help me restart it or At least make the lense go back down. Please!

Not sure there is a way to fix it. You could open the camera up yourself and try to reposition it but then you risk disturbing other sensitive parts of the camera, plus getting some dust or particles in the lens. Taking it to a repair shop would be a good idea seeing as it is probably less expensive than buying a new camera and they will tell you if they can fix it in the first place.

AFTER THE 2ND HIT YOU SHOULD HAVE PUNCHED YOUR FRIENDS LIGHTS OUT --NOW GO MAKE THEM BUY YOU A NEW CAMERA AND STOP HANGING OUT WITH MORAN'S.

I'm not sure how to fix it. I've had a camera do the same thing and some websites claim there are some 'easy fixes' but they never seem to work.

It sounds like the lens gears got out of whack.
