Camera Problem with unknown format pictures?

Yesterday I was taking pictures and some of them out of the nowhere showed as uncompatible format. I took them and then only a few would stay and then it would all turn into an uncompatible format? is my camera busted? what can I do?

What format are these pictures in? If you'd let me know, I could probably tell you what you need.

Try to change the format in your camera's menu to .jpg or JPEG. Look at your user's manual.

Then again, Kodak does not make the best cameras. It could be going down the toilet.
