  1. The actual numbers will depend on your camera and what resolution you're shooting.  Look in your camera's manual, and it might tell you the numbers.  The best anyone can do here is to tell you "it depends".  But 2GB will give you twice as many as 1GB.

  2. Personally I carry both. I keep a 2gig in the camera and a 1gig as a spare. If the 2 gig 'crashes', breaks, gets lost, fills up, I have a spare. If it's just 'room' you want, I believe there is a 16gig chip out now.

  3. It just depends on how many pictures you take on your camera at a time before downloading and deleting. If you really take alot of pics and dont do alot of downloading then a 2GB would be better but if you dont need that then a 1GB would probably be fine!

  4. It is a matter of math 2GB is twice the size of a 1GB card .. I think you can figure that out with the right chart ... just look for the resolution you are shooting on your camera and compare it to the card listed on your camera manuals chart.

  5. Look at the manual that came with your camera.  It depends on how large the pictures are that you are shooting.  The larger the less pictures you can take.  It's all in the manual.
