Camera Trouble?

Question

whenever i turn my camera on, it says "card ERROR".

and so i always take the memory card out and then put it in again.

sometimes it turns on, but usually, it doesn't.

and if i take the memory card out and turn it on, it works fine, which means it's not the camera.

and so i got a new memory card today.

but the same exact thing happens.

what should i do, and what's wrong with it?

[yes, i have tried putting the card in a different way.]
