  1. I have never heard of "Leica" filters...turns out there are some out there [2]  here is the UK dealer locater for leica. http://en.leica-camera.com/service/deale...

    here is a Leica premier dealer worth checking

    R G Lewis Limited,  29 Southampton Row, Holborn London WC1B 5HA

    you could use a filter that will mount on your Leica lenses. on the front of the lens there should be an o with a line through it with a number in mm. that should be the mounting ring size you need it should be some number like 55mm or 32mm.

    check all your lenses to make sure they are the same size, if any are different you'll need a different filter for that lens or a step down adaptor if that lens is smaller then the rest.

    take your camera to any professional line camera shop and they will be able to identify what size mounting ring you have and explain different filter brands/systems.

    (some lens caps have the mounting size listed on the lens side of the cap)

    {there are UV and polarizer filters by leica for the M system, but no other filters for the m system [1] there is a larger line including color filters for the R systems [2]}

  2. Jessops.

  3. Leica filters are around 150 to 300 dollars each and well a purist will tell you that if you have a leica lens you must use a leica filter. On the other hand and IMO

    B&W

    Tiffen

    Hoya

    Heliopan are just as good and you will save a lot of money.

    If you need and want leica filters then can be found at B&H and Adorama
