Camera help 10 points...?

Question

i borrowed my friends casio exilim [7.2 mega pixels] camera

she gave me the cord but when i plug the cord in the camera and the computer nothing happens. Then when i try to turn it on the battery is low. Does the battery have to be charged for the camera to upload pics???

Usually, when connecting a camera to a computer using a USB cable, the camera has to be turned on after it is connected.  So try charging the battery and turning the camera on after you attach it to the computer via USB cable.

You usually charge the battery by taking the battery out of the camera and putting it into the charger plugged into an electrical outlet.
