Camera help again answer asap?

I have the sony dsc-w100, (my sisters camera) and i was wondering, there is a delay when i want to take a pic, is there any way to change that. plz help i need this answerd asap, first answer theat works is best answer

  1. There is a delay... when you press the buttion to take a picture until the time the picture is actually taken. This is called "Shutter lag" and is typical of compact still cameras. The fastest I have seen shutter delay is 0.2 seconds. Normally, it is 0.3-0.4 seconds. You cannot change this unless you replace the camera with a much more expensive Digital SLR (or use a film camera).

    Scroll down to the table with the green bars... The DSC-W100 has shutter lag of .5 seconds... a half a second...
