Camera lens scratch sound???

ok i dropped my sony-dscw110

D: NOOO!

yeah it still works perfectly its just that when the lens goes in and out it makes this horrible sound like its being scratched??

theres no problem with the functions or whatever but i'm scared that soemthing might be wrong in the long run!?

what do i doooooooooo!????

Take it to a repair shop, or if you know someone who has a good understanding of electronics then let them have a look at it. **Before doing any of the above, check if your warranty is still valid as any tempering by a third party will void your warranty.**

Call Sony and ask how much it would cost to repair it.  Your warranty will not cover it because you dropped it.   Warranties do not cover abuse.
