Camera says card lock?

i bought a hp photosmart e317 digital camera and guarantee has run out. it worked perfect yesterday and now today when i turn it on it says card locked i have tried everything to no avail it doesn, say how to get it off in hand book but i need it for a christening today can anyone please help

Do you have a memory card in your camera? if you do take it out and check if there is a switch on the side of it. Push this switch the other way and then put it in and try again.

That could possibly be it.

there should be a little switch on your card just click it up or down to unlock the card. hope this helps
