Camera scratches?

i hav the kodak md863, and there is a scratch on the flash....does the scratch affect the quality of pictures it makes?...do photographers hav scratches on there cameras (like on the flash) and are they fine with it? or are most photographers fine if there is a scratch (like a big one) on there camera but the camera still works?

Only a scratch on the lense affects the picture quality.  As long as the flash still works, you shouldn't be worried.
