Camera that records, takes really good, clear pictures and is under $100?

If you know cameras that have those specifications please reply.

In general, I usually tell people to steer clear of Kodak cameras.  The good thing about them is that they are fairly sturdy... but that is about it.  Their picture taking abilities tend to be below par, and after 3 clunkers over the years, I have given up on Kodak making a quality camera.

That being said, under $100, you are going to be hard pressed to find a camera that takes "good, clear pictures," and the best you can hope for is "decent" so long as you don't try to use it in low light.  To that end, you can stick with any major brand and get basically the same results.  Whether it is Canon, Nikon, Samsung, etc they will all be satisfactory and take about the same quality picture.

I would consider a camera from the Nikon L series (L11, L18)

I have an L11 and it works great. And plus the fact that Nikon's in my opinion are the best quality out there. When I got my L11  a year ago it was 110, so I am sure the price has lowered.

That's the one I bought my daughter for her birthday. It takes clear pictures and videos. But she did say that the pictures will be blurry unless you have the flash on.
