Camera to tv?

Question

like on the movie disturbia, how do you connect a camera to a tv so that whatever appears on a camera shows on a tv? (like turning a regular video camera into a survellence camera)

It's pretty simple. All you need is a cable that connects from a video-out on your camcorder with rgb ends on the other side (the yellow (video) end and the red and white audio ends). There was prob one included with your camcorder and one or both of these will work:

The first one is for firewire output, the second is for an a/v output. Just look on your camera, they're probably labeled. One is rectangular shaped, the other looks like a headphone jack but will tell you it's a video-out.

You can connect a camcorder to a TV two ways. The first is with a A/V cable. The second is with a S Video cable. Firewire is for connecting to a PC. Anymore questions or details or supplies your local Radio Shack has your answers..
