Camera tripod?

Question

I have a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W55 digital camera. I want a tripod for it, to take some good still shots. Do more camera tripods fit all cameras? Where can I find one if it's specific?

I need it for next week. Thanks in advance.

Camera tripod sockets, as well as the tripod screws that attach to them, are a standard 1/4"/20. Any tripod will do.
