I own a Canon G5, and have a photo that i would like to submit to an online contest. Does anyone know the aperture and the shutter speed of the G5? Any help would be appreciated.

  1. There's a wide range of apertures and shutter speeds that G5 can get. I am guessing you need specific set for your picture being submitted.

This information can be found in EXIF meta data embedded into your original image. There are lots of programs that can read this, like free and easy irfanview. However, if you have Windows XP, you can do it right from explorer. Right click on the image file, select properties, then move to "Summary" tab. You may need to click "Advanced" button to see the list of many EXIF parameters from your image. Look for "F-Number" that's your aperture and for "Exposure time" that's shutter speed.

    Good luck in your contest.
