Cameras make you look 10 pounds heavier, does the same happen from an individuals perspective?

you know how some mirrors make you look thin, others make you look wide, and videos make you look heavier, well I'm wondering if peoples eyesight works the same way.

There is a disorder called body dysmorphia where people see their body larger or smaller.  It's more psychological and very common in individuals with eating disorders.
